AutoX began as a car show but has quickly evolved to what can only be described as an all-round automotive festival. Showcasing the best of everything automotive and a whole lot more, the festival caters for a wide market with loads of entertainment for the whole family, from the hard-core petrol head to Mum, Dad and the kids. One major new feature of AutoX is the introduction of Rockfest, an R18 showcase of local music talent in the Jim Beam Bourbon Garden.

Loyal from the beginning, the fast four boys will always be part of the show. Past years have shown some incredible displays of Japanese and European engineering and with some added incentives in 2008, we should some of the best rides yet to be seen. |

Top riders from around the world will be battling it out over a 75ft gap to be crowned AutoX Freestyle Champion. Featuring Trent Garton, X-air Gold Medalist Robbie Aulderburg, and New Zealands own, Steve Gregor.

AutoX will feature the first in a 3 round series, DriftX carpark battle. Be closer to the action than ever before, with demonstrations by top drifters, Tiger White and Brent Eatwell.

The aim this year is to expand on the water sports, with not only some slick new boats on show, but some of Farnleys flashest jetskis, boating and fishing gear, and Hamish Wright performing some insane wakeboarding tricks in the purpose built pools.

As in past years, we will have live performances on-stage from some great local talent playing all day, both days and the music will really start to crank when Rockfest begins Saturday night.

Not all will be revealed until the day because the AutoX team will always keep some surprises in store, but some of the other attractions will include RC racing, Go-Kart demo, bikini babes, paintball and dyno testing.
